“Hemish” is the traditional name of the Jemez people.  The community has a strong running tradition.  This brand incorporates both their running and cultural connection to place.

The Jemez Public Health Department wanted a brand that reconnected wholistic wellness to the Jemez people.  The new brand was well received by the community because it acknowledges the people through its traditional name.
