The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) has used various marks and icons through its history. To help celebrate the cultures of the Southwest, the new brand uses a universal “migration” image to help visitors visualize their journey to the museum.
Locally, the museum is referred to as “MIAC.” The acronym has been incorporated into the main mark, which allows the logo to be used without a work-mark. The colors used in the design are inspired by the plants, sand, and sky on the land which MIAC is located.
